What do I need for the mobile app to work properly? / Geolocation is not working correctly.

To ensure the Clockster app runs smoothly, make sure all required permissions and settings are enabled on your phone.

Location Access Permission

Android:

1. Open Settings → Apps → Clockster.

2. Go to Permissions → Location.

3. Select Allow all the time or Allow only while using the app.

iPhone (iOS):

1. Open Settings → Clockster.

2. Tap Location and choose Always or While Using the App.

3. Turn on Precise Location.

Camera Access Permission

(Required for selfie check-ins, if enabled by the employer)

Android & iOS:

1. Open Settings → Apps → Clockster.

2. Go to Permissions → Camera.

3. Select Allow.

Notification Permission

Android & iOS:

1. Open Settings → Clockster.

2. Tap Notifications and turn them on.

3. Make sure sound alerts are enabled.
